“We love Saarland, it's where our roots are and we are here to stay!” says Dr. Peter Theiss. The Homburg site has proven a good choice for the Dr. Theiss group. A company expanding at this pace needs space for new ideas.
Up until 2011, employees at the Homburg location were divided between two plants; one on Michelinstraße and the other on Dr. Peter-Theiss-Straße. The company had originally planned to construct a new office building on Dr. Peter-Theiss-Straße. Dr. Theiss: “When we heard about Karlsberg's plans, we changed our minds”. In 2011, 100 employees from the marketing, sales and personnel departments at Dr. Theiss Naturwaren GmbH moved into new work premises in the Paul-Weber-Haus. The two original plants still house manufacturing, the laboratory, distribution and production. The Dr. Theiss group therefore has three plants in Homburg, Saarland and remains true to the company's guiding principle - “in harmony with nature – made in Saarland”.
